I usually don’t order garlic knots when I go for pizza because, well, I fill up on pizza. But that’s not to say I’m not a huge garlic knot fan. Bread, garlic, oil – what’s not to love?! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! Someone bring me a slice of pizza and some garlic knots? Please and thank you!

I recently joined the crew over at The Next Great Generation as a food writer! I’m just getting started, but so far it’s given me the chance to explore the Boston food scene which is definitely exciting.
For my first post on the site, I decided to make three really simple but really delicious panini using five or less ingredients (salt, pepper, and butter or oil excluded). Incidentally, I think these may very well be the first savory recipes I’m sharing. Groundbreaking!

A few years ago, my grandma wanted to take me into New York City for a fun, relaxing girls’ day out. I was responsible for planning the entire day – from what we’d do to where we’d eat.
At the time, I have to admit, I wasn’t a huge fan of the city. I didn’t see much excitement in going there. Too many people, too many buildings, and not nearly enough fresh air. In the land of “so much to do, so little time,” I struggled to think of activities that would make both of us happy.
